Dr. Waddington completed his undergraduate studies at Swarthmore College in Swarthmore,
Pennsylvania before receiving his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He also completed his Fellowship Training at Kirksville College before moving on to an Osteopathic Traditional Rotating Internship at Metro Health
Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
After returning to Kirksville to complete his residency at the Northeast Regional Medical Center ,Dr. Waddington joined the Clinical Faculty, lecturing on Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. He then became a Staff Physician working in Memphis and Unionville, Missouri before joining the staff at ECHN as a Family Practice Physician.
Dr. Waddington has earned a number of honors and awards in his career, including the Thomas M. Funk D.O. award for excellence in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. He also has an amplitude of research experience, having contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications.
