UCONN Students
Eastern Connecticut Health Network is proud to be affiliated with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. The UCONN students rotate through Family Medicine, Ambulatory Medicine, Inpatient Hospital Medicine, Ambulatory Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Surgery and Psychiatry.
Students have expressed that working alongside residents has been helpful due to the informality of discussing patients, practicing/honing skills and rotation-specific questions that they may not be comfortable asking their attending. The resident/student relationship is more or less a buddy system where both student and resident work together and benefit from what each individual can bring.
