Dr. Remi Mathews began her studies at the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Coimbatore, India before coming to the U.S. to complete her residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington in 2004. After her residency she spent time as a Research Associate at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
In 2007 Dr. Mathews joined ECHN as a Primary Care Physician. She also spent time working in Wound Care and Hyperbaric treatment at Manchester Memorial Hospital. In 2013 Dr. Mathews became an Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine in the ECHN Family Medicine Residency before becoming the Medical Director of ECHN’s Family Health Care Center.
Dr. Mathews is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, as well as the Connecticut Osteopathic Medical Society. She has also dedicated her time as a Volunteer Physician at Manchester Community College.
