After completing her medical degree and residency, Dr. Roula Rizk became chief medical resident and a primary care fellow in Staten Island University Hospital, and her interest in the science of aging led her to complete an additional year of training in Geriatric Medicine.
After training and graduation, Dr. Rizk worked in both the inpatient and outpatient settings as a teaching attending, as a hospitalist and as a primary care provider.
Dr. Rizk believes in the importance of self-care, especially as a female physician who strives to practice compassionate, evidence based medicine while raising her four children and enjoying family life with her husband.
In her spare time, Dr. Rizk loves traveling and exploring different cultures around the world as well as practicing kickboxing.
